Music to My Eyes celebrates the performing arts

Now is an important time to support the performance community.

An internationally acclaimed brass ensemble, The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is composed of some of America's top brass musicians dedicated to bringing the joyous experience of great music to a wide range of audiences. The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is a family owned and operated business that had its beginnnings on the streets of New Orleans. On the advice of Ellis Marsalis, the group created a concert format that breaks the usual barriers between genres and strives to create connection between the audience and performers.

New Hope Arts thanks Rodney for his permission to share this performance.

Mrs. Warren's Profession is particularly appropriate to this year because this is the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in the USA. Shaw was writing about how women were treated in 19th century England and the injustice of their position in society, which was true in the US as well.
