Continuum Exhibition of Master & Emerging Artists

Read about the exhibition. This featured event is the third invitational exhibition of six recognized regional artists who have each chosen emerging artists to present along with them.  Though painting has been the primary medium of choice for past exhibitions, the 2014 show is represented by a wide range of media. Twelve artists and more than forty works express visions from abstract to figurative and include canvases and sculptural works.

Continuum Master artists are veteran exhibitors in the regional arts community and beyond – Merle Citron, Jay Eisenberg, Robert Hansen, Glenn Harren, Joy Kreves and Stacie Speer Scott. Our pairings between the Master and Emerging artists rely on the Master artist’s concept of evolution, style and point of view in selecting work to present in the Continuum format. The Master artists essentially curate the show by selecting new talent to present.

The Emerging artists – Jennifer Finch, Susan Moloney, Robert Noonan, Heather Petrosky, Lauren Rudolph and Ivia Sky Yavelow - showing with New Hope Arts for the first time, each have a meaningful connection to the Master artist that is explained in the presentation. Continuum’s popularity with gallery goers and the art community reiterates the evolution of art through the generations.

Open to the public through March 2. Gallery Hours Friday through Sunday - noon - 5 pm . And by appointment
