Artists Support New Hope Arts

New Hope Arts and the Creative Community Work Together

New Hope Arts holds a special place in my heart,  allowing me to develop as an artist and curator. with our 2018 A-Space presentation of Dreams Shared / Suenos Compartidos  and the intercultural showcase Ancestral Intersection in the main gallery in 2022, gaving me wings to my passion for social activism through art.

I painted Factory Girl Bake Shop because the store and owner are both in the spirit of the New Hopereferenced in contemporary promotional brochures. The individual, creativity and enterprise are all still there, along with extraordinary cakes, pastries and breads, in one of the classic stores on Main Street. Factory Girl Bake Shop is a creatished part of the local community.

That community focus is shared by New Hope Arts, founded to sustain our artistic hertiage by creating opportunities for artists. It is essential for artists to have their work seen and for the larger community to engage and understand the creative potential among us. All the works of art we knowand love were once ideas struggling for an audience. New Hope Arts makes that connection. New Hope Art's deserves everyone's suppport lest we drown in old ides.

I have exhibited in a wide variety of shows at New Hope Arts and other galleries for over 25 years. My first large scuopture installtion was featured in the New Hope Outdoor Sculpture Project in 2016. It was the beginning of many commissions pieces. Thank you NHArts.
